Thank you to all who came and made it yet another very special weekend. Thank you for all the help on Friday night, thanks to Stephen for the excellent route on Saturday and to you all for the team work on Sunday for making sure we all achieved what we wanted on Sunday. OD at its best. 🙂 x

Thanks to Kate for organising the weekend. A moving experience to be on Great Gable on Sunday. Enjoyable walks on Friday and Saturday-thanks Stephen for leading. Lovely food on Friday and great company throughout.

It is probably true to say that this has now become established as OD tradition.
Not everybody can make it every year but it is always great to see returning faces and new ones too.
Whilst the Sunday service is the main focus of the weekend, I am sure it is fair to say that it is everything around it that makes it special, 'everything around' refers to the people and their attitude. Ther willingness to contribute, assist and help each other.
Departing on Sunday always has mixed feelings, sorry that it is all over but elated at having seen people again and witnessed the magic of humanity at its best.

Thank you Kate for organising a great trip with my first walk up to Great Gable. I loved every minute of it. Thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome. I am back in London now and and I am missing that landscape which is truly epic.

Once again many thanks Kate for organising this weekend, great to catch up with so many old friends, and meet so many new folks. This was OD at it's best sharing the hills with like minded people, long may it continue.

Thanks Kate,it was a great weekend and to have your support as we climbed Great Gable was priceless. Lovely to meet everyone and yes, I might be back but not when it is quite so icy. I think a summer trip might be in order. Love from a softy southerner 😀
