Thanks to Shelagh for organising and expertly leading the 21 mile walk around Ullswater on Thursday. It was a great walk with breathtaking views especially with the changeable weather conditions-sunlight bursting through cloud cover. Shelagh’s knowledge of the geography, natural landscape and heritage of the area added greatly to the enjoyment of the walk. We ended with an excellent pub meal in Patterdale. Great company all day.

I agree a lovely walk in a stunning location. I will watch out for it being repeated in the spring time Sheilagh 🙂
