Scafell Pike Walk
by BalThanks to Paul for leading the walk on Saturday. After the heavy rain on Friday night and the low cloud Saturday morning I didn’t think there was any chance of a high level walk but Paul persevered and the weather improved and we had a memorable day. The streams were raging torrents and the views staggering. As ever the walk was enhanced by the expert knowledge of Paul,Stephen and John and the lovely group of people doing the walk. A day to remember.

I second that ! Thank you so much
KHKate HWhat a spectacular day, beauty everywhere! The water crossings were at times tricky but just added to the sense of adventure. Never done the corridor route before so particular thanks to HV40 for that. Loved the little climby bit however I couldn’t keep my 2 metres social distancing As people piled
DaDaleUp a bit behind me. It didn’t last long and plenty fresh air so 🤞🤞🤞
The forecast was right eventually. The day started off damp and the Lake District was certainly showing its true colours with all that water draining down off the fells but the clouds rose as we did and enhanced the views all the way. 360 degree views from the summit and a dry descent. Thanks to Paul for route planning and Kate for getting us all together. Lovely to see everyone. Come back soon!
TCTCThanks to Kate for putting it on and Paul for Saturday walk, great to be out and about with friends again , I had a great weekend, glad to get home for a rest, see you all again soon.
BiBigfootThanks to every one who joined me on this walk, it was great to meet up with friends again, and enjoy England's highest mountain. The weather slowly changed, the cloud lifted and the sun came out for us to enjoy perfect conditions for the walk back to Borrowdale.
