A memorable day in different ways. Great to meet up with old and valued friends and just as good to meet three new members who, despite the soaking by the storm or even because of it, will hopefully stay and be equally good friends in future. Thanks Dale for putting this walk on and thanks Bea for not being too smug when the drowned rats returned.

John I was just happy to be reunited with you all🙂😂😋....
and may be I enjoyed my"great escape"...in the car( avoiding the downpour) and eating my chocs and having a cuppa.....a little bit...

But...when you out there...and you have no where to hide...and beeing with a great bunch....it can be an amazing experience...?.. I think I missed out ....there..🤔

Thank you Dale ...for a fabilous day...
And I hope that our OD magic...will live on 🍷🌄👍❤

Done this walk many times but it was special to do it with such a lovely bunch of people in a spectacular storm. Very exciting ! Great organisation from Dale as always .

I loved the company, I loved the walk, I really really really loved the storm!!! And I am informed folks, by a man with a gadget, that it was in fact, 12 miles not 10 so all in all, a damm fine day 😁😁😃

Great to see new faces, not that I'm tired of seeing old faces. Boots still not quite dry. My phone says 18.7km (11.6 miles) but it is notoriously inaccurate. Really enjoyable walk.

Lazlo Woodbine It was lovely to see you.
I feel a bit like a wimp that I dropped out lol, but I wanted to play it safe. Glad to hear you got your feet and boot nearly dry...and phone working as normal.
It was great to see you all and have experienced " helpers" in the wings....in form of John and Bal..
🙂😊👏
