A JUST INSPIRATION - Pt. 2

Yes, humans are part of this;
my soul is goose-bumped
and brimming with pride;
yes, hands have combed and stroked this landscape,
but Nature remains reckless and untameable
as she joins hands with us,
every step of the way,
humble, unapologetic and non-judgemental,
yet demanding of attention;
yes, mysterious, yet full of clarity,
yes, wise, yet playful,
yes, perfectly formed, yet ridiculously unique,
yes, volatile, yet calm,
yes, jumbled, yet symmetrical

With gargantuan ambition
allied with a light touch,
bereft of arrogance,
selfishness or dread,
she envelops us
with an aura of legend, fairy-tales and unseen truths,
rooted in ancient folklore and secrets;
the ultimate creative force

While far below in the valley's depth
the Bollin's wrinkling pools
simmer wistfully...
a river, like a small brook,
trickling and babbling
in unison with the rest
