A BIG thank you!!
by LearnedgentHi Folks,
Having just returned home from our little jolly to the North York Moors this week i'd like to say a massive thank you for the excellent company, the encouragement to keep going when little Amber took her toll on my arms, knees, back having spent 3 days constantly on her lead (which as you dog owners will know is no fun for a 1 and a bit year old , full of beans doggie). I couldnt have wished for nicer folks to have as company for my first few days of walking this year!
Chamonix and Bal will now be known as 'the dog whisperers', having taken Amber under their wings on Wednesday!!
Even Bea (Pebbles) who couldnt make the walking this week took the time to come and see those of us who were camping at Cote Ghyll - thank you!!
Also, massive hugs to the Weather Gods - they really came up trumps this time!!.
I am really looking forward to meeting you all again soon!!
Cheers All
Alan

And a massive thank you to you Alan for putting on the event. Fantastic walks and we were blessed with dry paths, clear views and sunshine. Also thank you to Dale supported by Bal for day two and three walks - good to have local knowledge of best places to stop for coffee and lunch. Five stars all round 😀😀😀😀😀
LoLoranI can only second Loran. What a splendid invite with great walks, weather, scenery and company. So we are all grateful to Alan for coming up with the invite and Dale & Bal for leading the walks on Wednesday and Thursday, much appreciated.
FcFlat cap (Mike)Non of it would have happened without your decision to put the invite up and we all benefited from it so thanks to you. The weather, company, walking and scenery were absolute treats. 😀😀😀

DaDale@Dale: it just shows we all had similar feelings. It was such a splendid mini holiday for Jan and me, especially with the added visits to Mount Grace and Staithes

DaDaleThanks Alan for putting up the invite. It was a pleasure to look after Amber for a while she really is a lovely dog. Such a joy to meet friends old and new and to walk in the glorious moors and hills in brilliant sunshine. A pleasure to help with the walks on Wednesday and Thursday.
BaBalIt was lovely meeting some of our lovely group and having a little natter at the campsite and a lovely cuppa Alan 😊
