Night walks and site down apology!

How many of you go for walks in the dark? It was something I re-discovered as a scout leader 🙂. Nigh time nav exercises enthused me with the new landscape that appears in the dark. Although the moon was mostly obscured by thin cloud last night torches were only required for the boggy bits and the ditch crossings. Below us in the valley the lights of the village promised warmth and beer 🍺. The moon would pop out occasionally lighting the landscape up in white light and cast deep shadows under the hedges.

I can recommend you give it a go 👍, or do you take dark winter evening trips out already?
