Thanks Paul for organising this walk. It was great to be out on an OD walk again, catching up with people and meeting others. The rain didn't dampen our spirits and the walk was thoroughly enjoyable, it being so varied, sociable with lots of laughs along the way.

I agree Kath. Another walk I’ve never done before. A lovely day out, thanks to the generosity of HV40 and the company of the OD crowd. Still can’t seem to find out the original purpose of the 9 Standards Rigg but they were impressive!!

HHelvellyn40Steve, next time i shall try harder to order some nice dry sunny conditions, as on this occasion i seemed to fail, can't win them all, but despite that it was great catch up with old friends and welcome in some new people.
