Wouldn't surprise me Munroist if FL is one of the News of the World team! Wish I was around for Pen Y Fan, off to my friend in Hereford!

ali-bach  on 19/08/11 @ 8:45

You may be right Ali, although I'm sure I saw FL in a photo on here shooting rapids with twelve women wearing hard hats. I think he was auditioning for the new film Raiders of the Lost Ali-bach! I'll wave to you, somewhere around Abergavenny!

You seem to have been getting everywhere FL. Hope it wasn't you leading a certain young lady from this site down the garden path, through the conservatory and up the stairs, ripping off her two layer goretex and base layer and fumbling in the bottom of your rucksack for protection....we all need survival bags after all!

on 20/08/11 @ 12:18

Typical Welsh weather on Pen y Fan today by the way

mumunroist2847   on 20/08/11 @ 12:19

FlForever lost   on 20/08/11 @ 14:54

Sorry FL not the guilty party either. That makes two of us. Just assumed everyone wears two layer goretex nowadays! The hunt for the scoundrel goes on.

on 20/08/11 @ 17:01

Anyway FL I'm detached.... actually that's not strictly true, I live in a barn, we all do down 'ere in Devon!

mumunroist2847   on 20/08/11 @ 17:44

Nothing wrong with our weather munroist28847, ,we can read maps etc. its you "flatliners " who have trouble coping .....Ha !ha!

MGM G   on 21/08/11 @ 12:25

I sense animosity MG! I love Wales as it so happens, apart from having to pay at the toll to get in there! Cadair Idris is one of my very favourite mountains of all. You might even tempt me in October!! Incidentally the number of us who have climbed all the Scottish munros is nowhere near 28 thousand. Around 4000 at present count, get my number right!

mumunroist2847   on 21/08/11 @ 12:46

Hi I agree MG I had a fab weekend last weekend ok it did piss it down about 9.30 for a few minutes but then an ideal walking day prevailed sunny and a light breeze <img src='theme/emoticon_smile.png' />want to come down again around the 10th of September for a one night stay over do some walking on the Saturday is there a special place / area you would suggest?

mumunroist2847   on 21/08/11 @ 16:12

MGM G   on 21/08/11 @ 16:25

Boys!! Munroist, I was driving past Abergavenny at about 2.45 today, I waved! or was it yesterday you were up Pen Y Fan, the weather was pretty dire in Hereford too! gorgeous today though. We don't let anyone into Wales you know that's why we charge, well actually the bridge is owned by the French!!!

ali-bach  on 21/08/11 @ 19:13

Saturday on Pen y Fan Ali. If you fancy a walk on the Quantocks, just go over the bridge and turn right. On a good day you'll be able to wave to all your friends in Port Talbot from the top. I'll even pay your toll fee, to get back into your homeland as long as you buy the first round after the walk!
