ResultsDead Swan

In my pictures I showed my swans who had her eggs removed by some heartless bastard. Because of this she made another nest but too near the path. She had another egg the other day which I was worried about because I knew it would be stolen. This morning I found her dead in her nest and it looked like a dog had attacked her. She didn't move to protect her egg. I don't blame the dog but the person who removed her eggs in the first place. I have cried all day and I know its sad writing it on here but felt the need to tell friends.

I have been to the lake this morning and I think its the male that got killed. She is now on her own. He had been removed by RSPCA. <img src='theme/emoticon_unhappy.png' />

I was out walking yes walking the local canalside over the bank holiday when I meet a lady and we started chatting she knew the ring numbers of all the swans locally and she told me that she saw a pair of swans attack another pair of swans and actually killed one of them apparantly they are very territorial so it may have been for this reason such a shame as they seem so gentle,really sorry you had to see such an awful site jopo x

Jo I am so sorry to hear about your swans, I know how much you cared for them, there is shoulder from me to cry on and big hugs anytime you need them, take care Jo

TTTerence ( Terry )Aww Jo that is sad, PP and I went to our local lake and fed loads with a whole loaf of bread, they are real characters. A big cwtch from us in Wales to you, hope you feel better. xx
