Would love to join you on this one Andy, but I don't think my daughters would be best pleased with me over Christmas ☹ they say I'm never at home on a weekend as it is ... cant think what they mean! Have fun 🙂

BrBramblePassed few years Christmas was at Edale hostel but been rented privately this year. So Cairngorm it is.

on 22/12/13 @ 12:54Arrived Aviemore last night only one hour late.Cold and wet snow.Comfy hostel though and easy to get to the shops and bars.Maybe walk up to check out a bothy today will decide later.

BJBlue JohnAnother easy day due to high winds did a easy walk around loch an Eilein.Road to the Cairngorm ski centre closed let's hope it opens tomorrow.Thinking of doing cairngorm weather permitting. Merry xmas everyone
on 25/12/13 @ 16:18Great day early start did fiacaill ridge on to Cairn Lochan around the plateau to summit of Cairn Gorm very icy in places.Decended to visitors centre.Will post some pictures.

Its a good day fof travel going over to Glencoe for the New Year weather looking reasonable for next few days,slow internet connection here for photos.Merry Xmas

Ready for day out Beinn Sgulaird a Munro 937m on the way to Oban.raining and snowing 95%.Had a late start just hard going wet snow above 600m reached summit 3 o'Clock returned same way.Was good to stretch the legs

Didn't take any photos that day as it was either raining or snowing with low visablity, visited the Oban sealife a long time ago properly changed since them.
