Beach Head Marathon

Thanks John and Alison for your hospitality over the weekend. Had a really lovely time, the lemon drizzle cake was superb.

Really enjoyed the marathon, never thought I would, thanks for the company along the way, even though I ran off and left you at the end. 🙂

Great event, well organised and the weather was perfect, would encourage anyone to take part.

lizied came in at 6hours 15 min, think we must have just missed you LIz.
Peregrina (with the assistance of Eldeflower as a pacemaker for the last 9 miles) came in at 7 hours 30min
LIz (the Yorkshire half of ThisIsUs) came in at 7hours 45 min.
Ladyliz with a sprint finish came in at 7hours 55min.
I brought up the rear with 7hours 59 min.
Thanks all for a lovely weekend, the house seems very quiet now. See you next year??? 🙂

Wow! Well done all! 🙂 I couldn't do a marathon any more - bad knees 🤔.

Sounds like you had fun. i hope you partied into the night afterwards, or did you just collapse into a heap? 😋

I think I was probably in the dining room, enjoying sausage, jacket potato and beans, followed by rice pud and fruit cocktail- perfect recovery food!!!! Hope you enjoyed your Chinese! Well done everyone 🙂🙂🙂

After a nice hot bath we had to walk down to the chinese, it was very nice though.🙂
