Thanks Liz for organising a fantastic week end also, to Catherine for the part she played in making the week end so successful. I'm glad I made the journey from "up North" to see friends in their own back yard and get to know other OD members who from now on I will also regard as friends. The walk was certainly a change of scenery for me and with that in mind I hope it wont be too long before I venture south again.

And indeed many thanks to both Catherine and Liz for keeping us all going stage after stage with their thorough planning and organisation. Thanks and well done. Also thanks to Julian for his navigation and his epic journeys to come so far for a day's walk! Good to meet up with everybody again; it was a great last stage. 🙂🙂🙂

Thanks for a great weekend. Although I only joined you for the last three legs, this final walk to Dover was particularly enjoyable, the fabulous scenery, white cliffs, golden wheatfields edged with borage, watching the falcons hovering just feet away from us, and then finally arriving in Dover to be greeted by a timely and spectacular aerobatic display. All of this in the company of some great OD friends. It was a perfect day.
