A not too specific wander
by RourkyAs term is out and the wonderful NHS still havent been in touch, I have decided to embark on a long awaited road trip (4th Aug - approx 20th ish Aug). I aim to be hitting Snowdonia on the way up country for Tryffan & Glyders +1, Lake District for Hellvelyn, Scafel Pike +1, Isle of Arran for Goat Fell +2 with a swim, Fort William for Ben Nevis +2 and finally +1 in the Pennines on the way back down. Hope to catch one or two of you out and about. 😋

BJBlue JohnEnjoy your road trip Rourky, Arran a favourite of mine, shame I can't join you, are you going up Goatfell from Glenn Sannox via the saddle, take care some tricky scrambling. Oh and don't go left at the saddle or you will end up on the Witches Step, scary 🙂
MoMorningdawnCheers MD its going to be a scary tour this one with most routes ive chosen..
on 24/07/14 @ 4:49John have two big mountain days planned with some spectacular ridges, scrambles and of course as Dawn says the witches step. Once back in me flip flops and country casuals then the tourist track beckons, to complete what i missed as an 18 year old A' Level student, cant wait....🙂
RRourkyAh, the with's step. That was a fun day, especially as we passed an abseiling party by, turned left, said "see ya" to their bemused faces and slithered down the angled slab and through the letterbox. Its easier than the guides say.
Have fun!
