If the weather is OK,I would also be looking to join a Lakes walk.
TOTrotOnruth: If nothing comes up, feel free to contact and we could sort out something?
Thanks, will keep a watch and see what the weather is doing
Hello Ruth. Potentially yes but the weather will have to be better than last weekend.
I have just returned from a walk on the Cleveland Way and Whitby in goodish weather today as I notice the weekend looks bleak so will bow out of walking in the Lakes this weekend in favour of biking from home. Best of Luck if you do walk.
TOTrotOnOk no problem thanks for letting me know
ruth: Looking at the weather, next Saturday looks the best to sort out a walk, but I am away in Kent next weekend. I met both Stephen and Top_Spot at Haweswater and I will keep a look out for walks in the Lakes over the next few weeks. I am looking to staying in the Lakes after Christmas and may post some walking/biking myself, depending on the weather.Hope you get some better weather over there soon.
TOTrotOnThanks TrotOn, I didn't get out at all this weekend walking many of the roads are flooded 🤔
Wait til the snow and ice comes! I d start stocking up now! I remember walking to Kirkstone pass from Windermere ( where I lived) along thick snow covered roads... The car was ineffective.. Great day though...people snow boarding down the ' struggle'
