The Roaches....etc
by Miss TJust wanted to say a big thank you to HPM for yet another great walk 🙂 Despite Hen Cloud & the Roaches being shrouded in mist.....and despite the torrential stormy rain during the afternoon (all my gear is currently drying out in the airing cupboard), it was a lovely route! I'm sure the scenery would have looked fab too, if only we'd been able to see it!lol
Lovely to see everyone today and thanks to all for contributing to a brilliant day out.
Tracey 🙂 xx

Same as above from me great turnout for midweek, HPM & Deka's pulling power in action there me thinks, soaked on outside but dry on inside..... pub SHUT.☹ D'oh.
MaMacc59Thanks HPM for putting the walk on. A great mid-week crowd and especially nice to see people I've managed to miss for the past few months. Lots of laughs as usual.Pity the Winking Man was more both eyes shut tight as didn't get a chance to say a proper tara. The walk certainly tested our wet weather gear. I need new w/p trousers!
PKPeteKHPM. What more is there to be said. Make sure the weather's next time otherwise, you're in trouble.😈
DeDekaSee I knew we should have started sooner rather than later. Never mind, nice to see all the mid-week folk again. Cleanest boots ever at the end, now gently steaming in the micowave on defrost setting 🤔 Hot tip:they serve beer and wine in the cafe!

Thanks HPM.
Double D'oh
MaMacc59Thanks HPM for a great walk made more pleasant by the fabulous company. We are a colourful lot in our rain gear. Glad I went back to the cafe at the end, for some lovely chats about our travels.
LCLaurieCI did think that with such a large group that one or more of us would start a Gregorian chant or incantation in Lud's church. I'll bring my wooden flute next time. On future invites can you state how many kissing gates there are, as that revived tradition you introduced is a good laugh. Cheers
Brilliant day everyone we even got to see a female Peregrine falcon (in pictures) and little owl at the wild trust centre. Thank you Derek it was a great walk and day. TO be typed off with cake samples after the poor girl watched me dribble all over them 🙂🙂
UJUltreia (Jo & Alan)R1chard: Now you tell us.
DeDekaThank you everyone, despite the afternoon downpour it was a lovely day! With fifteen of us on a weekday walk, I think I better do a full recce for the next one!!! 🙂
