Life of a Mountain:Blencathra

Terry Abraham's film "Life of a Mountain: Blencathra" will be shown on BBC4 at 9 pm on Tuesday 14 th February. This is the BBC's 1 hour edited version; the full 120 min film has been available on DVD for some time.

Hi Stephen, I have the full length one, it will be interesting to see what they have done with the short version . That's my valentines night sorted

Hi folks, the one hour version was edited by Terry Abraham to fit in with the BBC schedule as before with Scafell. I have the full length DVD but will be watching this one too. He has now won lots of awards for his work & is presently working on a biopic of Alan Hinckes the Everest Mountaineer who lives in the Lakes 🙂🙂

The Alan Hinkes film premiere is on 14 October at the Rheged Centre near Penrith. They are still showing the 1 hour version of the Blencathra film if you want to see it on the big screen.
