Thank you Ruth for a glorious day on an area that few walkers venture,always searching for the higher Fells.
A.W. comented in his apaictorial Guides that OUTERSIDE FROM Braithwaite offers so much to the descering walker.the scenary combined with peerfect weather made a wondereful days walking.The Force Crag Mine has ceretainly expanded since i was here 20 years ago🙂

Hi Ruth,
So pleased we walked this yesterday,28 degrees in Coniston.Began to head for the Old Man cialley rcuit,but turzned around at Coppermin Valley and headed to join the mulitude on Coniston Lakeside path to Torver & return via Launch
