Doug's Wales Week
by Flat cap (Mike)Although Jan and I were only involved in part of the activities I wanted to say a big THANK YOU to Doug for putting on another one of his great invites and for keeping the faith in OD. Of course any invite is only as good as the participants, and I was amazed how nice the crowd was and how all in one way or another contributed to the big success of that week - just to single out Tracy-no-e for leading the amazing Sunday walk, Rhian for her outstanding hospitality, and JohnH for providing the Missing Person Mystery Event. I had a great time, thank you all.

JiJill18Well said everybody, what a fabulous week, everything I wanted it to be and more. Only got rained on once and didn’t even fall in during the kayaking 😂 spectacular views and experiences every single day !!!!! Loved it .
DaDaleThank you for your kind words. It was a testing week weather wise but ODer's resilience shone through. Good to meet with old friends and make new ones. I would especially like to thank Rhian, Mike and Tracy for putting on events. Also a big thanks to Jill and Mitch who came along despite still suffering from some post operative pain.
LWLazlo WoodbineThank you to all leaders and organisers and to everyone for your lovely company. At last sailing today with a gap in the windy conditions but more coming tomorrow! X
bjbarbp-jYes - a big thank you to Dougie for organising and so sorry I wasn’t able to join in on Tracy’s walks. Not sorry I wasn’t able to join in on Mike’s Wednesday walk. I’d probably be still up there competing for the Missing Person Mystery Event😉
GlGlyn2Just copying over my thanks to Tracy that I added to the invitation comments on Sunday in case they were missed.....
KeKestrel7"Thanks for the walk Tracy.
Nice route and very enjoyable despite the wind...."
Good to see familiar faces and get to know new ones. :-)

And my thanks Doug for organising another great North Wales week. Also thanks Tracy for the lovely coastal week. Just sorry I was not able dine at Rhian’s - another time hopefully.
LoLoranMany thanks Doug, as a token of gratitude I have posted your waterproof left in my vehicle, back to you today. Would hate you to get wet. 😎
PhPhiltheetilerThanks for suggesting the Wales Week. Although everyone was friendly when approached, communications were poor and it didn’t feel very inclusive and a little bit cliquey. I suppose most people have found their friendship groups.
