Well catwalker you could try leading the shorter walk if you want the practice. But you're not slow. Actually people often lead from the middle or back. Everyone stops when there is a fork in the path or a decision to be made. So so long as you know where the turns should be it shouldn't be a problem.

For those coming who don't want a long or hard walk I have a couple of suggestions one being the Chatsworth Estate which you could also include a visit to the house in the walk to make the day pan out more. I'll have some written directions if anyone is interested
