There are so many photos being posted of the same event (and even the same view) that it is too time consuming to vote on every photo. Maybe everyone limits the number of pics they post to say 5 max, it would be easier and less time consuming to view and vote on every pic? 🙂

No, sometimes if you don't log on you won't see them. It's also nice to see random pics popping up from past trips, some very beautiful ones that others haven't commented on.

I think maybe it's an idea to post sensitively to allow people on the same trips to post their pics too. But for me I love photos, so it doesn't bother me there are so many.

I like it how it is, I love to look at ALL the pictures, but when I'm posting pics from an event I tend to just select a few best ones for the site.

What I would like though is - when you click on a thumbnail and view one pic, if there was an arrow to click to go to the next one or previous one, instead of having to go back to the main page with all the thumbnails on every time....🙂

A surprising number of you like the random pics, and keep the page open when not using the computer as a slideshow. I have wondered about albums and organising, maybe for the future ...

My only concern is disk space on the server, and how I would go about tidying up in future, but again, one to worry about another day as there is currently no issues.

just looked at some photo's from a recent walk with Sue Chillin linked to a meetup group, the photo's are all grouped to the particular walk and play as a slideshow on a full screen. This appears to work ok. I do like the random selection on here though as there's plenty you miss over time, Bigger pics would be helpful though !!

Can one cheat and vote for their own photo?

As many of you know we have a OD private site on FB for those on FB. You can then create a album and add photo's of the walk. This site is for members only and larger amounts of photo's that can be downloaded in one go. It is taking nothing away from the OD site. It's not for invitations or a forum. If you want to join you need another OD member to add you that is in it. 😀

hi photographs showing our exploits on weekends on day walks always leaves a smile on my face it would be nice if they are slightly bigger and maybe put them into album of that weekend if that is possible which has been mentioned maybe a max of 5 photos per person of that weekend might be a way to go and maybe categories as well which might enhance the site and give a greater understanding what is this site is all about we are very proactive just some ideas keep smiling everyone😀😀😀
