Hi Tinks. I can put some walks on if the weather is OK. We'll get a better idea during the Wasdale weekend. Are there any which you would particularly like to do?

top_spot (john): That would be lovely John and I really do not mind,just thought I might aswell make the most of my few days off and with the travelling up there etc.
I would need to know if i should change YHA on Sunday or shall i stay where i am.

climbtogger is doing a walk in Gunnerside in the Dales on Monday 7th, partly so the two of us can meet prior to sailing later in the month, but all are welcome 🙂🙂
I've posted a couple of Lakes walks for 1st and 2nd for anybody arriving very early.

Tinks: Coniston Coppermines & Holly How are nearer to me and a perfect base for doing the Coniston Fells if you haven't done them already. If it rains for the whole of the Wasdale weekend then you might prefer to stay there in the hope of getting the planned walks done. (Sorry to add a note of pessimism but it does rain there occasionally. Actually most of the time.) You will have to decide if you want to book in advance or wait & see how we get on next weekend. John.

I will decide about accomadation over the weekend at some point,like you say it all depends on the weather.I will try to bring some sun with me 🙂
