In just one year the laughs are too many to mention,I have met so many new friends & I have had so many good times, especially the people who made me feel so special on the real ale trail & birthday trip. Thank you 🙂🙂🙂

John we like an excuse to have a laugh. Blueray trying to eat a "veggie" pork pie was a good one and the speed with which she claimed the vodka! Or even Vonnie one way ticket!!

those hazy days of fun and laughter yes that banana i remember that being said even now when i eat a banana it brings a smile to my face memories south downs way we were about half way round we stop by a church to eat our sandwiches there was 4 of us sitting on this wall it started with undergarments you can just imagine where is lead chafing is a very good interesting subject funnily enough expression on our faces what we did not no 2 photograph were taken at that exact moment even now i laugh search lovely memories😀😀😀

So many funny moments Claudette, Tinkerbell, Born to be free and myself trying to hide from Minty in the lakes, Rick losing his map on a Peaks walk when he was supposed to be teaching me how to map read. Me trying to climb over a wire fence in Skye stood at the lower end trying to put my leg over where the fence was higher, didn't have the sense to turn around the other way. Bustagut and my boots, and not forgetting having to be manhandled by Deka to get my butt over a gate 🙂

Hmmmm...now let me think....Hadrian's wall! TMiW and I decided to do a little detour and ended up getting lost. The only way we could get back on track was by, climbing over a crumbling waist-height wall surrounded by barbed wire and an electric fence. Not funny at the time, but always makes me chuckle now when I think about it 🙂

And yes, the OD signs - what were we thinking?! In fact that whole weekend was filled with nothing but laughter - happy days....

TMIW - omg I at top of the list for this thread. Yes Brecon III was one of the most hilarious nites I hv shared with 33 people on my knees. The funniest nite I hv had in a long time with some fab new friendships. Sadly I won't b at Brecon this year ☹

Whilst out walking with a friend yesterday near Calke Abbey we discovered a series of inscribed stiles, I took photos & solved the puzzle which went south to north.The sentiment of this poem by Hillaire Belloc seemed appropriate to my enjoyment of OD 🙂🙂

Another memorable time (eh TMIW) was meeting FL at Malverns. Thought u were truly forever lost until we discovered u existed on the flesh. Lol lol & more memorable was Claudette speechless at this very siting lol lol

We make memories daily. Some surviving the test of time and some just to be savored for the moment they're made. The latest for me was on the Ale Trail where there were tears! and as this year is invitation packed I know there are more to be made in the not too distant future! Watch this space kids!!!! 😋😈😈😈

Awwwwwwwwww Love thats brought a tear to my eye to think that my presence left you completely speechless pity the same couldn't be said for jopo I still suffer with ringing in my ears after her screams lol that said I really enjoyed the day the company was great the weather not sooooo good but can I just say Love I think I may be further towards the back than you this year as I haven't done any long walks for some months but then you could always hang back and tell me all about your adventures like you did about Peru which I really enjoyed as I've never been further than Wales no I tell a lie I've been to North Devon lol 🙂

Oh what memories guys. Last weekend was not bad watching Deka 'doing' Apocalypse Now whilst playing charades🙂

Tad envious Chris, I went to Cornwall hoping to see one .. but they all had their cloaking devices on and the weather was a bit stormy.

My inspiration is my personality, I just get a buzz of being outside and watching nature do it's thing in the quiet and stillness of it. It's like stopping the world spinning for a little while.

When I was little my parents were mostly working, but they had a small boat which meant some weekends away in around the upper reaches of the Thames, which is beautiful, so maybe it began there.
