Have made black berry jam before very nice and black berry wine It was like a port, 17 percent. Two glasses and you know about it.

hi there well i have lots of plum vodka,sloe gin was a couple of years ago still maturing , not really into mushrooms ,to dangerous ,to many out there that are not good for you ,,have lots of books on foraging ,a freezer full of berries and such like ,i need more room ,maybe we should all get together on a walk and taste each others wares ,,i doubt there would be much walking afterwards we will all be pissed

As much as I can and know! Hence the name. Elderflower cordial/champagne, blackberries today for jam and ice lollies! Wild garlic never passes by untouched and the few mushrooms I'm very confident in get searched and picked every year. But agree with you Womble, would love to know so much more. I have the books but being shown first hand must give you the confidence you need!Sloe and Damson Gin just about stretches to the next batch - but that is only because I make bucket loads!!

well i now have 10 lotes of Blackberry wine on the go lol ,and 5 Litres of wild plum wine ,,,,,whats next ,watch this space

I have spent the week walking, picking,and cooking, just finished blackberry jam, raspberry jam, raspberry jelly, elderflower jelly, and started the elderflower wine for the first time, have got some 10yr old sloe gin it's very special, like the sound of your blackberry wine need to get picking again, have you got a favourite method/recipe?

I made elderberry wine a few years ago but dont have the space now, I used port yeast which was reccommended as more suitable 😋

has no one done anymore foraging ,not much around this time of year tho but i have
blackberry wine.
elderflower wine
gooseberry wine
damson wine
cherry wine all waiting to be drank
also lots of spirits to go at
cherry liqueur
damson vodka
damson/sloe bombay gin
maybe i should go to a AA meeting
