womble: hi Penny, I had fermented shark when in Iceland and never went back for a second helping. Try Kimchi if you have not already and easy to make.
on 23/11/16 @ 10:05womble: the shark was good compared to Swedish surstromming. I am sure the Korean kimchi ingredients could be adapted to include foraged items.
PhPhiltheetilerI don't really go for the food side of foraging, but use sloe, damson, rhubarb, blackberry, raspberry, strawberry, and recently apple together with gin and or vodka to make wonderful drinks. I usually only use foraged fruit, just feels more natural.
