I am so saddened by this news.Noodles & brookey were the first OD,members i met & seemed to always together The last walk with Nikki was a ramble around Bollington with Glen there also,but Brookeys ramble turned out to be 13 miles,☹

Nikki,was always wearing mostly pink,but also bright colours to match her personality,always a happy person to walk with.Yes another lovely member sadly lost.☹

Very sad news, another taken far too soon. I remember going on many walks with her over the years. RIP Nikki xx

I only had the pleasure of Nikki's company on a couple of occasions, the last time being at Blacksail a number of years ago, we all had a brilliant weekend. Very sad news indeed.

Nikki planned her own funeral and at the bottom of the order of service she'd written 'To all my walking friends - whenever you see a trigg point, touch it, look up and say hello as I'll be watching you'

Wren: thank you for that and I'm sure many will do that who knew her. I wish we'd been there to say goodbye but we will remember her. I will find a lovely picture of her when we went out one night. Very very sad☹

Landranger68. She chose Monty Pythons Always Look on the Bright Side of Life for the start of the funeral.... and she always did.
It would have been her bithday at weekend so I'm going to send a 'thinking of you'card to her dad, i'll let him know that so many people on the site are remembering Nikki and missing her x
